Since January, we have had substantial carbide increases from our domestic suppliers. Beginning September 01, 2005, we are incorporating a temporary 13% surcharge on all catalog items and special orders. This surcharge is necessary for us to remain a viable vendor for you.

Our labor rates remain the same but we must raise our prices to offset the raw material costs. Service work is not affected by the surcharge.

All blanket orders will be honored until expiration date. We welcome any feedback that you can provide us in the interim of this temporary crisis.

Vanguard Tool Corporation in Fieldale, Virginia, has increased its regrind capacity to service all types of rotary cutting tools including the following:

• All standard HSS, Carbide – Tipped and Solid Carbide End Mills
• HSS, Carbide – Tipped and Solid Carbide Wood Straight and Spiral Router Bits
• Solid Carbide Compressions, 1+1’s, 2+2’s, and 3+3’s
